On Thursday, 15 December, Facebook expanded the availability of its Timeline feature worldwide. Speaking at the Facebook f8 Developers Conference in San Francisco in September, Mark Zuckerberg initially announced Timeline which was designed so ‘you can tell the whole story of your life on a single page.’ Once available, users can chart their entire Facebook history via Timeline, from their first friend to the most recent status update. The social network first rolled out Timeline in New Zealand last week in order to monitor speed and performance in an English-speaking country.
